Are your gluten free products certified to be gluten free?

We have developed a state of the art Gluten/Allergen Control System which includes a cleaning and sanitation plan that exceeds industry standards. In addition to carefully planned production runs and the completion of daily cleaning and sanitation procedures, all relevant equipment is inspected prior to a production run and tested for the presence of proteins in order to verify cleanliness. As an added measure of vigilance, all finished products are tested by an independent lab to insure compliance with established thresholds for gluten and specific allergens. The federal regulation pertaining to gluten free claims on packaged food does not require manufacturers to test their products to confirm that any detectable levels of gluten are below 20 parts per million. Our unique company standard of requiring independent third party gluten testing of each batch of finished product verifies that our products are gluten free.

Which of your products are Kosher certified?

Ian’s Original Panko Breadcrumbs are Kosher certified.

Do your products contain MSG?

None of Ian’s products contain added MSG (monosodium glutamate). Some individuals who are extremely sensitive to MSG, may also react to other forms of glutamate, such as that naturally found in parmesan cheese and tomatoes and also present in ingredients such as autolyzed yeast and yeast extract, for example. When in doubt, speak with your physician or registered dietitian about specific ingredients you should avoid.

Do any products contain Trans-Fat?

All of Ian’s products contain 0g Trans Fat per serving. We use only expeller pressed canola oil, a trans fat free oil low in saturated fat and high in beneficial Omega-3 ALA fatty acids, to set the breading in our products.
